Graham Elementary finally has a visual art program after over 10 years! This means a lot of time has been spent organizing art rooms, sorting through materials, and planning an empowering and enriching arts curriculum for all students at Graham. Students in art will gain experience and skills in a wide variety of media- painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, collage, digital artwork, and more.
The Graham art room still needs one big thing to help protect the in-progress and finished artwork for all students: a drying rack!
I want to teach my art students to carefully engage in the artistic process, from planning to framing and reflection. In order to do this, I would like to give my students a drying rack so that they can truly take care of their paintings.
Thank you so much for any and all support! Drying racks are an expensive but necessary part of any art room so that all wet artwork has a designated place to dry before moving on to the next step. Help protect our artwork and keep the classroom organized- thank you so much!
