Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are on block scheduling, which breaks down to 90 minute class periods. For a middle school student, this can be a lot of "sit and get" time. I like to provide my students with various learning strategies to help keep them engaged during Science.
Students are more engaged when they are actively learning, so I incorporate as many hands-on activities as possible.
My students are also very creative, so any ways to incorporate art are always a win! This project will allow students to draw on their tables using neon dry erase markers and chalk markers. This will let them "graffiti" with a purpose!
