Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students come from a poor section of New York City in the Bronx. They almost all qualify for free or reduced-priced lunch. No matter the hardships they face at home, they come to school ready and eager to learn each day.

The fifth grade students this year are a mix of general and special education students with various needs and abilities.

This is their last year in our school before they graduate and go to off middle school. We would like to provide a end of the year PBIS rewards for them including graduation bracelets, pens and glasses to show them how proud we are of them this year. These rewards will be allowed to be purchased though our class store and will be given out during our end of the year celebration.
