This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year we hold large graduation (or "moving up") ceremonies for our 5th graders and kindergarteners. Students, teachers, and staff come together to celebrate. However, every year we struggle to find the resources to pay for decorations for these events.

I work in a Title 1 school, so the majority of my students live below the poverty level.

We are unable to ask for donations or financial contributions towards these extras celebrations. The students deserve to feel special on their graduation days. By purchasing these generic "Congratulations" decorations, you are helping our school procure supplies that can be used year after year.

Our mascot is the Tiger, and the little tiger touches will give the decorations and extra personal touch. Thank you for considering this project!
