This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My band students enjoy playing their instruments with their friends. Some band classes are smaller, some larger, but all require music stands to hold students' music. Some students can have their own stand, others must share. Our band program is increasing each year, and at our recent combined concert, a problem became evident.
We didn't have enough music stands to go around.
Two students sharing a stand is normal, three to a stand is difficult, and four to a stand is impossible. We need to get more music stands so everyone can confidently and comfortably see their music. My goal is to acquire 10 additional good quality music stands.
