My Students
All of my students live in a large city in Michigan and receive free lunch. Many of my students come to me speaking little or no English. Here, at our wonderful school, there is something for everyone. Even the parents like to engage in our learning opportunities.
My students don't like sitting around; they like to be engaged and to explore new things.
As their teacher, I would like to make available a wide variety of learning materials so they can engage and learn in a variety of ways. I also want to make sure they are well fed so they can concentrate on learning and not hunger pains.
My Project
Coming to school hungry is something that my students face daily. Funding this project will allow my students to grab and snack and keep on moving! Our day is full of active learning and proper fuel is a must. The Kind Bars are a wonderful snack that do not contain additives. The honey crisp apple juice and orange juice will be fast fuel for my students.
Allowing the grab and go snacks in my classroom eliminates hunger so learning can take place.
The juice drinks, granolas bars, and the On the Go snack box are perfect for a mess free snack.
