This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are asking for basic classroom supplies, such as cardstock for printing, Sharpie markers, printer ink, and activities where students can express themselves. My students will use the materials across the curriculum in reading, writing, math, and science. I service an array of multilingual students and would love to give them the resources to express themselves in a way they feel comfortable. The Sharpie markers will be used during small group phonics instruction, as well as writing and math support, as well as when students work in groups for projects. It can be stressful starting the school year without the supplies needed to become successful. A TPT gift card will allow me to find resources to support the content that will be taught during instruction.
With these materials, my students will not have to worry and can begin the school year ready to learn.
Students will also know that the supplies are readily available and easily accessible. Please help me get my classroom ready for the next school year!
