Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Community, compassion, collaboration, and curiosity; that's my class! I am fortunate enough to have the task of facilitating learning among my lovely learners who are always on the edge of their seat, eager to learn something new! My eighth graders possess a sense of family and classroom community with an infectious warmth that is conducive to learning.
Pencils are basic supplies that every child needs.
With this project, students will be able to receive sharpened pencils, a small laminating machine, laminating sheets, and laminating pouches. This is helpful to protect student work for bulletin presentations and student portfolios.
While my star students abound in the very essence of resiliency, combined with a love for learning; unfortunately, this community has limited resources that are needed to prepare students for ultimate academic success.
