This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The final project in Sculpture 1 is an identity box. Right now more than ever I feel that students are trying to figure out their own identities. Especially during this complicated, very influential time with social media and being on cell phones.

Giving students these boxes to create identity boxes.

To decorate them with previous techniques that students have been working on throughout the year. The previous techniques include paper mache, popsicle sticks and casting material. Students love to create this box because it's about themselves and it's a keepsake.
