Got Books? Reading Materials Wanted!

My students need 17 books as well as subscriptions to Time for Kids, Weekly Reader, and READ magazine.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. C.'s classroom raised $417

This project is fully funded

We are a charter school on the West Side of Chicago and we would love some more reading material for our class library!

My students enter our school two to three years below grade level. In order to help them meet grade level expectations and to ensure their success in upper level education, we need a classroom library filled with books at their level and their interest. They especially need non-fiction magazines to keep up with current events and different types of reading material.

Reading material at different levels that is of interest to my students would be a great benefit to have in our classroom library. My scholars are expected to read everyday for at least 40 minutes and this would help put books in their hands that will continue to make them life-long readers.

You will make it possible for my students to have a much wider variety of reading material to help them become life-long readers with the skills they need to succeed in this world
