My Students
My school is a performing arts and technology school with constant collaboration and teamwork. We are lucky to have such a diverse group of students here in Astoria, New York. I currently work with eleven inspiring fifth grade students each day. My students are hardworking, talented, and entertaining! Despite the various obstacles they face, they continue to persevere. My students treat each day as a new start. Everyday I watch my students grow in confidence and overcome their struggles.
My Project
These new Chromebooks will help my students take full advantage of all of the online resources our school has invested in! Chromebooks are designed to provide access, support, and management throughout all Google apps which we commonly use. The Chromebooks will provide a lightweight and secure (since they are cloud based) way for students to access a multitude of venues for school documents and educational materials.
These Chromebooks will help my students discover better ways to meet their individual needs more independently!
If we are funded these notebooks, our group projects, test scores, presentations, and lessons will be taken to the next level. They will have limitless platforms and methods of representation at their fingertips.
All of this while remaining engaged and preparing for the high tech demands that await them in the future. This investment will provide my students exposure to numerous resources for research and college readiness.
