Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a class, we did a survey of what rewards would encourage the students in their work. Candy, colored pens, and scented markers were on the top.
Rewards will be handed out to students who are on task or are trying their very best. Both the strengths and needs of each student are taken into consideration. Allowing all students to earn rewards.
Students work independently, in pairs, and in table groups. Students have improved greatly in working independently. I would like to reward students who have learned to overcome their differences and are learning to accept their peers' points of view. These rewards would encourage students to continue their great group collaborations.
