This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have many worries and struggles in their life and I don't want education to be one of them. With these materials, I hope to build a foundation for my students to be well-rounded in handling different life situations. With these tools, I hope my students will learn strategies on how to cope with different kinds of emotions in the classroom and at home so they can live a very fulfilled life. With these materials, I would like to give the students the practice they need to deal with frustration, struggles, and a long list of emotions they might experience in their lives.
When they learn calming strategies it will help them be more present in the classroom, which can help their grades also.
These strategies aren't just for school or elementary-age students, it is for long-life learners in many different kinds of environments.
