Help me give my students an environment conducive to learning with Smart lighting in my classroom and a classroom coffee bar. Airpods will be used as a reward/incentive for students to earn "chill days".
There are about 1,394,203 other things the typical teenager would rather be doing than sitting in a high school classroom listening to someone trying to explain Algebra and Trigonometry to them. As their teacher, I'd like to try to make my classroom more appealing to them, which in turn will lead to a more positive performance in my Honors Algebra 2 class.
What better way to grab a teenager's attention than with cool technology and coffee?
Smart lighting paired with a coffee bar will hopefully have them excited to come to math class each day! Individual students will earn daily "escapes" by popping Airpods in and hanging by the coffee bar for that class period. All of this will lead to greater success in the classroom!
