Good Ole Garden Fun

Help me give my students these planting materials so they can see the importance of growing and planning a raised garden. This will help them to know how to plant and grow food.

My Project

I want to encourage healthy lifestyle in my students in a fun and positive way.

My students will love being a gardener.

We will do this by growing vegetables in a COATTOA Raised Garden Bed.

Our garden will be on the playground so it will get lots of sunshine. This will also let the other classes experience this too.

They will fill each garden bed up with Dr. Earth Gold Premium Potting Soil. I will let them decide which Survival Vegetable Seeds they would like to plant.

The students will take the vegetable seeds from the garden kit and plant them in the bed.

They will use the plant markers to label their seeds. They will also use Heirloom Hot Salsa Growing Seed Packets 8 Varieties of peppers so they can make their own salsa.

My boys and girls will watch as the plants grow and be ready to use them in snacks and recipes. This will promote healthy eating habits. It will show the students how to grow their own vegetables in a simpler way.

My students are going to be so excited to see how growing vegetables really is fun. but this is going to be so much more educational by them getting to plant and watch them grow.
