This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year I commit to writing each student a positive note home. Some appear in binders and others hang on fridge doors. Each is genuine and personalized. When I began teaching, postcard stamps were twenty cents. Times have changed. This project now costs hundreds of dollars, but is still completely worth every penny.
All of us remember the positive things our teachers know about us.
We remember people who are kind. When we believe we are good, we can do great things. Kids are no exception. I want them to know they are appreciated in my classroom.
