My Project

Many of my students struggle to provide hygiene supplies for themselves, but we know that these items are very important for student comfort and health. When students aren't healthy, they either miss school, or if they are in attendance, they are unable to fully participate in the learning experiences in the classroom.

Being able to provide hygiene supplies to my students is very important to me.

I understand the stigma our female students feel when they don't have the proper supplies necessary to deal with their menstrual cycle, as well as the need for quality facial tissues for all students to keep their noses from chapping during cold and flu season. Finally, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes can help ensure that students can keep germs at bay.
