My Project

COVID-19 has significantly impacted learning for my students in a multitude of ways. Chronic absenteeism is still apparent as students struggle with returning to school unmasked and barrier free. The requested resources of food and drinks directly relate to helping students to continue my support of their social-emotional well-being and therefore, their academic learning in light of COVID-19.

I think that most students feel extremely comfortable asking me for food almost daily.

It would be a joy for me to be able to provide that for them without hesitation or need to go into my own pockets. I am grateful each time a Donor's Choose project is fulfilled which means that my students will benefit from the generosity of strangers. I am hopeful that since they are the recipients of this they can continue to pour kindness into the world.
