This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very special to me. We need more supplies to keep our writing going. We use Expo markers each and every day but .... we need more!
Providing my students with a new marker when they need it is not something I am currently able to do, as our supplies are limited.
I am so excited that this grant will give these to them.
My Project
We use our whiteboards and markers on a daily basis and in every subject. I was blessed to win a grant from the Fiesta Bowl Charities and used a majority of it on flexible seating. However, I discovered that I still had some money left to use!
With the remaining grant money I will be able to supply my students with Expo markers.
If students need another marker - no worries - here you go! A long time ago I stopped worrying about pencils. You need another pencil - okay - here you go. Now I have the opportunity to do the same with Expo markers.
