Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Kindergarten in a dual language classroom. My students are 6 years old and they love to learn about different cultures. I am currently reading the following books to my students: "Dragon Dance", "Celebrating Chinese New Year", and " Bringing in the New Year". They enjoy learning about the Chinese festivities and their many contributions.
Because they learn better through experience and exploration we are currently organizing our room and trying to keep it clean.
We are definitely ready to welcome in the New Year!
With this in mind, I am requesting chocolate coins, yummy snacks, red envelopes, and small toys. Having these resources will
create memorable learning experiences for my students.
