Help me give my students individual copies of the book What Was the Gold Rush to assist them in our historical writing unit.

My Project
My 4th graders love the integration of social studies and writing! They have loved learning about historical events such as the Oregon Trail and the Gold Rush and then creating their own journals and informational books to demonstrate their learning. With our new writing curriculum, we are working to find ways to make the curriculum accessible to all students.
These materials will help get books into each of my students’ hands to enhance their overall understanding of the Gold Rush.
Currently, we only have one copy of the book to share between 25 students which makes the research process very difficult. Having books for each student will allow them to read and research independently. After reading, students will use the writer’s notebooks to record their research notes and work through the writing process. This unit will allow my students to become experts about the Gold Rush and present their learning in an informational book.
