Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at a school where students are low socio economic. We are expected to do the best for our students and have earned top honors in our district. For the past 7 years we have been given top honors.
Most of the students that I teach was out of school (any formula equation) for 7 months.
We this lack of learning, some of our students have fallen back 1 to 2 grade level behind.
My Project
Due to Covid, we are all forced to a new normal. I have had success with my students for the past 8 years. I am asking for a computer to make virtual learning seamless.
My students are typical: not self-motivated and need activities to keep them engaged.
Having this new computer will all allow me to be able to do Pear Deck, Quizziz, FlipGrid, and other programs that require you to have a system that is newer. The computers that they give us at school are 5 to 7 years old.
