Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
College requires a lot of reading, research, and collaboration. Due to COVID- 19, my students will not be able to attend a university physically. However, they will still strive to learn and be innovative by attending online classes this Fall. Virtual classes will prepare my students for the workplace of the 21st Century, and thereby enhancing local economic development by creating a technologically-literate graduating workforce, and improve the overall school experience.
It will help their creativity, engagement, and collaboration while getting a college education.
My students need to continue reading and learning to develop their sense of justice. My students come from a family-oriented Hispanic community, and they will be their first generation to attend college. They are very respectful and willing to work the extra mile to achieve success.
My Project
It would enable students to fully utilize Google Apps For Education and all the extensions and applications that make teaching and learning more fluid with life after high school.
Starting college online would help my student think critically, exert creativity, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively in a 21st-century world.
My students will gain knowledge in working with new information literacy, media literacy, and technology literacy. Support the skills that are important to prepare our students for the workforce and beyond. My students are eager learners from an urban district with a funding shortage.
