Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class consists of 22 young and eager to learn 3- and 4-year-old prekindergarten students. They love to use hands-on activities. My students will use the mazes during literacy workstations (matching letters), math workstations (counting, sorting) and to enhance their handwriting (tracing the different lines). It will also help with their eye hand coordination.
Going through all of the mazes will help my students to master the goals in math and literacy set for them in our prekindergarten class.
The students in my class will have fun with the mazes and will also be learning at the same time.
