Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

One hundred percent of students at our school are eligible for the free lunch program, and about 30% are identified as English Language Learners. Despite these potential obstacles, my students are determined to make goals and to achieve them.

My class is composed of 24 high-energy, curious, and ambitious individuals who love to learn.

My Project

I have included pencils, pens, markers, and notebooks in my project. These simple tools are essential for my students to be able to engage in everyday assignments. These tools will be used to practice their writing, to work through math problems, and to respond to science and social studies queries.

When schools shut down last spring, we were not as prepared as we would have liked, but this time around we will make sure students have the simple, everyday tools to learn from home.

These materials will be bundled for student use.
