This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are looking to incorporate new games into our Physical Education classes. Our students have such a love for being active, having fun, and being with their classmates. This game would be a great addition to the activities we play throughout the school year. Gaga ball requires cooperation and sportsmanship from all players. It also allows students to improve their agility and hand-eye coordination. These same skills are necessary for learning, with and from others, in the hands-on learning classroom settings. Since Gaga Ball can be enjoyed by any student, no matter their age or abilities, inclusivity is another important skill taught and reinforced.
