This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third-grade students are an energetic and enthusiastic group that looks forward to learning every day. We are located in Doral, Florida and we are all about diversity and inclusion. We welcome and celebrate each other’s cultural differences in my classroom and they look forward to collaborating with one another. This allows them the opportunity to share ideas and understand each other’s perspectives. My class enjoys hands-on activities, working in small groups, and using technology in new and innovative ways.
My Project
Students are no longer limited to just the four walls of their classroom. Integrating technology into the class allows teachers to connect with students of all learning styles. Students will have increased opportunities to enhance their interactions with their classmates and make new learning connections. Using technology in my class will provide my students with endless educational experiences. We could go on virtual field trips, Skype with students from around the globe, explore, research, and create new applications with just a touch of a button. Embracing and guiding my students to use technology effectively will make them responsible and educated digital citizens. My goal is to educate, expose, and prepare them for the future.
