This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 1st to 2nd grade students with various disabilities. My students do not understand precautions in school. I am setting up my classroom, in which they are allowed in their area with their own supplies. They will be able to utilize their supplies to stay organized and keep safe in their own area. Together we can help each other learn to stay safe in our own area.
My Project
I would like for all students to become more independent with their daily schedule and utilized their own folders while still maintaining social distance. Our students like independence and to follow a routine in my classroom. Each student will have their own supplies and do not need to touch anything else in the room. The folders are set for each subject area and students learn to finish their own work and put it away as we go. Since my students are from many different disabilities they learn to follow along.
