Goggles for K-2 Lacrosse Team

My students need 4 pairs of lacrosse goggles to encourage them to play a team sport.

My Students

This project will benefit girls in grades K-2 who want to join our city's lacrosse team. Last year the girls' K-2 team had only 7 players. Our indoor season just started, and we already have 20 young girls with the desire to play this team sport!

These girls exude the perfect combination of toughness and cuteness when they are out there playing catch and shooting goals.

They give it their all at practice and encourage each other along the way.

My Project

Our local school district has a rich history in lacrosse. It is becoming more popular each school year, and we want to share the love of this team sport with more young people in our community.

One of the struggles lacrosse players and their families face is the cost of the equipment.

While we do have gear that the players can borrow, there isn't enough to go around. I would like to gift these lacrosse goggles to girls in kindergarten through second grade who want to learn to play lacrosse but come from families who may not be able to purchase new equipment. I'm sure that once they get goggles on their faces and sticks in their hands, they will be hooked!

Your donation will help a child learn to play lacrosse, but she will reap many more benefits. She will learn to be part of a team and will experience the sisterhood and dedication that comes with it.
