This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Supporting women’s sports at the high school level is more important than ever. Athletics provide young women with opportunities to develop leadership, discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence by investing in their training and experience we not only build stronger athletes we help shape future leaders. This high school soccer team is composed of 7-8th graders, as well as high school students, who will all be competing against a very tough region of all high school females athletes These tenacious young ladies will be going up against players who have been playing at club levels for most of their lives and whose programs are heavily resourced. As the new head coach, I currently have no equipment available for practices or drills.

These goals will provide a critical foundation for our training sessions, online players to work on essential skills like shooting, passing accuracy, and positioning.

Pop goals are easy to set up, transport, and store, making them my idea for practices on shared or limited field space. With this equipment, I can run more dynamic, engaging, and purposeful sessions that help each player, regardless of skill level develop and feel empowered.
