Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students reside in Texas, one of the biggest states in the USA, and they're ready to learn no matter what! My school's kiddos all get free breakfast, and 90% of them are eligible for free lunch. My kiddos are from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and sometimes they need assistance with acquiring some of the basic necessities.
On good or bad days my four-year-old kiddos take a little more motivation to try their best.
These energetic four-year-old children are all at the start of their learning career, and I want to make sure they have a great first start.
With these supplies, I'll be able to keep plenty of tissues in stock and in reach of their little hands to be sure no one spreads any extra germs to their friends. After doing this huge safety task, they will be rewarded with cool healthy food and dinosaur stickers to keep them smiling. The shelving will store all of their action-based learning getup and books, so we can learn by moving daily!
