My Students
My 300+ upper elementary students were thrust quite suddenly into distance learning. We ended school on a Tuesday and distance learning began the very next day. One hundred percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily; many struggle with hunger and poverty on a daily basis. Many lack resources expected for distance learning.
My Project
My music students need a variety of new electronic resources for distance learning. My students and I are covering brand new territory. It is a big learning curve for all of us, and students are more engaged when presented with a variety of high-quality learning activities. My students are having difficulty simply understanding using Chromebooks for music class; Teachers Pay Teachers has many resources designed for ease of use to decrease frustration and increase engagement and comprehension.
