This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! The school we are at is a Title I-funded school in Arizona. We have a fantastic administration, wonderful teammates, and the best students! My students are very hard workers and also know how to have fun. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love seeing their faces every morning.

My students have a desire to learn.

They always want to know more, learn more, do more, and read more of everything. Our classroom is our own little family.

My Project

This year at our school, we have the opportunity to have a STEM and technology-focused class. Because this is a new class, there are no resources for it.

The hands-on STEM coding robots are a great hands-on way to practice coding and understand how coding and cause and effect work.

Students have to use critical thinking to program the robots to complete a specific path. It involves collaboration and group work as well. STEM is a way for students to learn by exploration, failure, and persistence. These resources will allow my students at my school to be able to use their brains to manipulate these hands-on resources to solve real problems.
