Help me give my students six microscopes so that my students can have a concrete, hands on learning experience in the water cycle and the rock cycle.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a classroom of 4th grade ELL/ESL students in a Title I community school. My students ages range 9-10. My students are very active and are hands on learners. They love to see and touch everything they are learning. These students work well in small groups to help each other learn the science standards. Every student in my class has different abilities that they share with others to help our classmates learn with us. We are truly a class of active learners.
My Project
All my students have a love of science. Our standards in science include teaching the water cycle and the rock cycle. Students move through these cycles learning where our water comes from, where it goes and what is in it. They also learn how rocks are formed and what components our rocks are made up of.
Microscopes will increase student understanding by providing a hands-on experience allowing students to see what is in our water around our city.
Students will also be able to see the minerals and sedimentary components of our rock cycle. Won't you help them succeed?
