My Students
I am the proud instructional coach and cheer coach at an amazing Title I Pre-K-6th grade elementary in Glendale, AZ! At our school, student success is our priority. I am so lucky to have the honor to help support teachers and all students by observing classrooms, working in small groups and supporting students in a one-on-one setting. Our teachers work hard to do what's best for our students. Our students are eager to learn new things and succeed. We take pride in all of our hard work and we have fun while doing it!
Because our students have limited opportunities to sports and clubs, we work hard on our campus to show school spirit through cross country, basketball and cheerleading!
My Project
Feeling like a part of a group/team is crucial in a child's development, especially after our last couple of years. Cheerleading has provided a sense of belonging and a place to strengthen their minds and bodies!
Learning new content such as dances, cheers, and stunts is what our team is all about!
Our young and eager minds are dedicated and ready to learn whatever comes our way. We are loud, proud, and ready to cheer on our basketball players!
With new cheer routines, we have to ensure our cheerleaders are extra safe and comfortable. Because many of our families cannot afford cheer uniforms, we have selected an affordable alternative option and provided what we can through the school. New cheer shoes do not fit in our budget so we are hoping this project will help us complete our outfit so we can safely stunt in our new routines!
