My Students
Every child is unique and individually special! Their minds are incredible and their abilities are unlimited!
My students are inquisitive and curious!
They are very energetic and active learners. They have been born during this current time of fast track technology! I have the pleasure of working with a lively group of students. They have a strong desire for knowledge. They are dreamers, thinkers, and future leaders. My students are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. It is my responsibility to ensure that my students have the same opportunities as any other student in our country. I believe my project will assist in that effort.
Technology plays a crucial role in our society.
I want to equip my students with the necessary skills to become successful students. I teach in a PreK Classroom in a large public community district school, where 100% of my students receive free lunch and qualify for the program by being low income eligible. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn.
My Project
Our preschoolers need to discover beyond the classroom. With the assistance of a laptop and carrying case (for protection) it will help us to go on virtual learning experiences around the world. Science is the stem area that covers the natural sciences, formal sciences, and the social sciences these areas can be modified to fit the preschool curriculum on a foundational level using technology.
When entering Preschool many inner city students lack prior experiences with STEM materials.
With your support, these materials will aid in providing more rewarding STEM exposure and opportunities to ALL my students, while leveling the educational playing field.
