A hot glue gun may seem like a small tool, but in our classroom, it plays a huge role in creating an engaging learning experience and showcasing student work. One of our biggest challenges is displaying student work on our classroom walls. Since our walls are made of cinder blocks, traditional tape doesn’t hold well.
We use hot glue to securely hang student artwork, projects, and graphs, ensuring that their hard work is proudly showcased.
Beyond everyday classroom use, we also host three major productions throughout the year. During our STEM Night, hot glue helps us build hands-on projects that explain heat transfer and how solids can change to liquids. It allows students to see their ideas take shape in a tangible way. In our school-wide art show, we transform our space into a gallery, using hot glue to hang student artwork for families and the community to admire.
A heavy-duty hot glue gun would make a tremendous difference in our classroom, allowing us to continue fostering creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. With your support, we can keep creating, building, and learning—one glue stick at a time!
