Help me give my students the gift of glue sticks! This way each student can have their own (no sharing for the sake of health and safety). We do cutting and gluing all year long!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are smart, kind, and have important little minds! They are first graders who love learning and come to school every day ready to conquer the day!
My students live in an urban district and school supplies can be difficult for them to get; these kids love to come to school every day to read, write, and be with friends!
Kids deserve to come to school and not have to worry about having crayons, they should be able to come to school ready to learn and be excited about it!
My Project
We do a lot of cutting and gluing in our room. During literacy time most of our "word work" deals with building words and sentences; we cut them up... and glue them down!
Students will each need their own glue stick this year (no sharing for the sake of health and safety)!
We do "word-work" daily and having their own glue stick will prevent sharing and touching of student materials!
Glue sticks are used all year long in our classroom. Students love them. They are easy to use. The students love them!
