I cannot wait to surprise my kindergarten students with a glow party to celebrate their achievements this year. One hundred percent of my students met at least one of the goals set by our district in ELA. Most of them met all three. I am so very proud of them.
White gloves and black tarps will complete my plans for the glow party.
Rewarding students for their achievements is a huge part of SEL. I am so excited; I plan to invite the other class we adopted for state testing to drop by and join the fun!
I also need to replenish our Kleenex and Lysol Wipes stash to prepare for next year. A clean classroom and access to Kleenex will keep our students healthy and help prevent loss of learning due to missing days due to sickness.
