My Project
I love teaching 8 and 9-year-olds. They love to learn new things, especially when it is hands-on. Science is a favorite part of their week for this reason. We get to talk about our experiments and discuss how they think it will turn out, also known as the scientific method. I love to hear them think out loud as they all give their opinions!
What is better than feeling like a scientist and creating some really cool things with some very basic supplies? These kids will create a hedgehog that will do just that. It will cultivate their interest and stimulate their imagination. It fosters a love for science and crystallography in a fun and exciting way.
