My Project
I am a strong advocate for children learning through play (shout out to Jean Piaget!) A full day of instruction and play in the dark sounds like a kid's dream to me! Usually for spirit weeks or Fun Fridays schools have a "Neon Day" where students come to school in highlighter/neon colored clothes and get a glow in the dark bracelet and that's about it. Well, I'd like to step to the challenge to take Glow Day to the next level! Glow Day will be bigger and better than ever and I'm oozing with excitement just even talking about it!
We need blacklights in every classroom (16 classrooms in total) and one for the main hallway when students enter the building.
We need some other supplies for teachers to use in class to help bring Glow Day to life. There are many resources on TPT that we could use to bring fun to our lesson plans and incorporate in the classroom! Please help this project get funded for one of the best days our students would ever partake in! This helps with attendance, it boosts student morale (and dare I say, teacher morale, too!), it encourages student achievement and success, and brings big Joy and Humor energy to everyone!
