it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Glow Week is our final hoorah—a joyful, engaging celebration of everything our second graders have accomplished this year! These glow-in-the-dark materials will transform our classroom into an exciting, interactive learning environment where academics meet creativity. Neon streamers, garlands, and UV-reactive decorations set the stage for a fun and focused atmosphere. Students will use highlighters and invisible ink pens in reading and math stations to practice fluency, comprehension, and problem-solving through glowing hands-on games. UV face and acrylic paints will be integrated into science and writing projects, encouraging creative thinking and self-expression.
These multisensory tools are more than just decorations—they’re academic motivators that light up our lessons and build lasting memories.
As we prepare to send our students off to third grade, Glow Week offers a meaningful way to celebrate their growth, reflect on their successes, and end the year shining bright—together. With your support, this unforgettable learning experience will truly glow!
