Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The 200 students that I teach (K-3), would LOVE a carpet to sit on while I read them stories about Hispanic Heritage, Black History, Women's History, and many different traditions and holidays that people celebrate around the world.

The majority of my students are from South American countries.

Many are not read to in English at home; or not read to at all. I believe that being introduced to many kinds of books, vocabulary, and cultures is highly beneficial for young children! My students love to be read to!

A carpet would really complete my classroom! We would all be very appreciative!
