My Students

My students come from many different types of home lives but are able to work together to learn and show growth in their knowledge as a team. Even though more than 60% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch, all of my students work together for one goal, to become productive citizens in society.

My students have a passion for learning but have limited resources outside of the school.

It is my priority to provide the best education for the students that enter my classroom. My very best includes providing supplies and amazing educational opportunities to them.

My Project

The 24th Annual Columbia International Festival is on April 5, 2019. I would like for our students to be able to attend the Global Education Day to enrich their experiences in diversity. This festival will feature hands-on engagement with the world's cultural richness, South Carolina's ethnic diversity and the positive contributions being made by foreign born citizens.

This exhibit will allow our students to visit more than 75 national and cultural exhibits.

Students need to be able to experience the world around them and realize there is more to life than where they live. They will be able to see each nation's culture differences through ethnic crafts, artifacts, musical instruments, videos, and pictures.
