This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Global Book Bags play a vital role in enriching our students' understanding of the world and nurturing connections between what they learn in the classroom and their personal experiences. By incorporating children's literature, we tap into their natural curiosity and foster deeper relationships between home and school. The carefully selected stories will not only spark their imaginations but also encourage them to reflect on themselves and the world around them.

To make this journey of discovery even more fulfilling, each Global Book Bag will include engaging and thoughtful learning activities, such as stimulating questions and creative writing and drawing exercises.

For example, a book bag may be filled with a Global Competence Card, a composition notebook, writing tools, crayons or markers, scissors, and a map. These thoughtfully chosen materials are designed to empower both students and their families, enabling them to work together and immerse themselves in the enriching activities that await them.
