Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students from Brooklyn are imaginative, creative, curious, and kind. They love hands-on and engaging projects that challenge and make them smile. Each day, they come to school ready to try new things and take brave challenges individually and in groups to grow socially and academically.
Every year I get an incredible new group of students excited to come to school to play and learn!
My Project
The art materials will support creative art projects that my first graders need to grow and learn. This is especially the case this year because most of the children have been at home learning remotely and have not had opportunities to experience art at home. They will use the paint to create paintings that will make them smile. The people stencil and glitter will be used to develop individual one-of-a-kind selves.
The excitement in using their hands to create art will bring joy!
In addition, it can be shared and admired by their peers, teachers, and family! They crave using art materials to create beautiful work that they can be proud of.
