GLEC Ball Is Life

Help me give my students athletic equipment for our basketball season this school year. Our teams need a new scoreboard so we can host home games as well as practice/storage equipment for the boys and girls basketball teams.

My Project

The basketball equipment we are requesting will help our student athletes be equipped and successful in learning the fundamentals of basketball and developing skills for success for a lifetime of participation. These organizer aids, storage and accessories will help to get student athletes motivated to play the game and face down the competition. Basketball is a great mix of athleticism, skills and awareness and we want to do our best to inspire greatness in our scholars.

In order for our student athletes to train at competitive level they need essential equipment to help the players improve their skills and fitness through conditioning, circuit training, and working on the basic fundamentals.

Although the most important training equipment for a basketball player is a good basketball, players need warm up tools before they even practice with a ball to get blood flowing and activate the muscles all over the body. These exercises require equipment that assists with setting up drills that focus on agility, coordination, footwork, speed, power and reaction time. By aiding in our project we can help our student athletes improve the effectiveness of their workouts and step up their game.
