This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year my students and I make bowls for the annual Empty Bowls Jr. event in our region. Each bowl that is sold raises funds for the local food bank that several families in our district benefit from.

My students enjoy seeing their work being appreciated by their family and those in the community.

We are looking to create unique bowls that will catch buyers attention so that we may raise as much money as possible for the local community. Your donations will help purchase glazes that create beautiful effects when fired in our kiln.
