A year ago, our fifth grade classes were moved out of the bright and modern main building into used, dreary portables.
Our public school in South Louisiana houses fifth through eighth graders.
Our fifth grade department is divided into three teams of two classes. My two classes of reading and writing are made up of a total of approximately fifty boys and girls who deserve to feel comfortable, safe, and content in their classroom.
My Project
Because our building came with no furniture or storage, we are in need of five folding chairs and an easel for small group instruction. Because our portable came with dark brown paneled walls, we are in need of white butcher paper by the roll to create murals and a dozen character building pre-made posters to add color and warmth to the room.
Please consider donating to our classroom's project.
Our outdated, portable building is B-O-R-I-N-G and cold, and we need your donation to help brighten and G-L-A-M it up! Thank you.
