My 3rd grade students love to wiggle and move. They enjoy the flexibility to work and be engaged in different areas of the classroom.
This year we are building a new school community, combining students from several nearby schools.
With all of the recent instability from the pandemic, teachers are working hard to create a welcoming and comfortable classroom space to help ease these transitions.
My Project
Wobble stools allow students to move continuously while staying focused. They help students sit upright without slouching in chairs.
The stools will primarily be used at our small group table when students are working for a short time on an academic or social skill with the teacher.
These stools are easily moved to different areas of the room and can even be used without a table.
By having a variety of options for seating in my classroom, students will have flexible options for sitting in a way that helps them learn the best.
